For everyone in fruit and vineyard cultivation who values efficiency, precision, and sustainability, SEPPI offers two powerful tool carriers for under-row maintenance: the PORT-X and the PORT-X direct – ideal for organic farming without herbicides.
- PORT-X is equipped with an autonomous hydraulic drive, the PORT-X can be used with any agricultural tractor. It is available in both Single and Double versions. In the Single version, the under-row implement is mounted on the right side.
- PORT-X direct - This model offers a particularly simple and energy-efficient solution, driven directly via the tractor’s hydraulic system (≥ 50 l/min). The PORT-X direct is available as a Single version, with the under-row implement placed on the right side.
A real highlight is the 2-FAST quick-change system, which allows tools to be swapped out in just a few minutes – without the need for any tools. This way, the PORT-X can quickly adapt to a wide variety of tasks in the field.
Available attachments:
• XTI – Tiny flail mulcher for efficient and precise mulching beneath the vine without damaging surrounding plants. Optionally available with the XPN weed comb, which uses stiff bristles to clear grass around the base of the plant.
• XSC – Rotary mower for gentle, mechanical treatment of grass and weeds.
• XSA – Cultivator that uproots weeds effectively at depths of up to 4 cm.
• XRH – Rotary hoe that loosens the soil up to 4 cm deep and brings young weeds to the surface – ideal for drying them out.
• XSP – Shoot remover for thorough cleaning of soil and vine bases.
• XDF – Weed brush that mulches grass between and around the trunks while protecting sensitive bark.
• XAN – Sweeper for gathering prunings and feeding them into the mulcher.
The hydraulically adjustable telescopic working width is ideal for varying row spacings.
Thanks to the FLEX-SAFE collision protection system with spring return, the system is well protected against impacts with vines or trees.
For even greater precision and comfort, the attachments XTI, XSC, and XSA come equipped with the FLOAT suspension system for perfect ground adaptation and the sensitive sensor SOFT TOUCH, which reliably responds to plant contact – ensuring gentle and accurate operation, even in narrow rows.
