H7 – Compact mulching head with powerful performance

With the H7 mulching head, SEPPI M. offers a robust and versatile solution for maintaining grass and brush on embankments and slopes.

The H7 was developed for wheeled and tracked excavators in the 5- to 15-ton class and is available in working widths from 125 to 200 cm.

This new mulching head from SEPPI M. sets new standards in efficiency: It combines maximum throughput capacity with minimal material ejection and durable components, making it a versatile tool for construction companies, municipalities, and landscape maintenance.

The HELIX rotor with self-sharpening SMO flails ensures clean and uniform shredding of vegetation up to 7 cm in diameter. Replaceable COUNTER CUTTERS and WEARPLATE inside the housing ensure a long service life—even during intensive use.

The HELIX rotor reliably processes grass, shrubs, and clippings, ensuring a uniform mulching result.

Perfect ground adaptation and maximum flexibility
The height-adjustable support roller ensures the mulcher adapts perfectly to the ground on any terrain. The H7 features a wide range of optional mounting interfaces that allow for ideal adaptation to the carrier vehicle and terrain. A floating mount with parallelogram guidance and a pendulum adapter are available. This flexibility is complemented by the 190° rotation plate, which guarantees maximum maneuverability even around obstacles and allows for efficient work in hard-to-reach areas.

The high-performance hydraulic drive has been specifically tailored to the requirements of excavators in this category.
With its variable displacement, the VARIO FLOW motor ensures optimal drive performance and delivers uncompromising mulching power.

MAXIFORST - In the basic configuration, SEPPI MAXIFORST is supplied with the ADAM system, which tilts the mulcher's gearbox, minimizes the working angle of the drive shaft and thus allows the mulcher to be raised and lowered with greater amplitude. The frame of the MAXIFORST forestry mulcher is made of special wear-resistant steel with replaceable wear plates (new since 2021), which ensures structural strength and reliability even under difficult working conditions.
